Susag Sand & Gravel Inc · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

The loader operator was lowering a piece of metal chained to the bucket onto the top of a rock crushing plant. The loader operator did not see that the accident victim was between the loader bucket and the rock crusher frame.

There were no witnesses to the accident. The operator was found outside of his loader buried under gravel that had sloughed off of the stock pile he was loading from. Fellow employees were attempting to remove the gravel from on top of him when officials showed up. Officials declared him dead at the scene.
