River Point Dock Coal

Employee was in the process of removing a zip tie from the tarp wire on EE's coal trailer with a pocketknife and when the knife cut through the zip tie EE inadvertently stabbed EE's left thumb with knife.

Apparent heart attack, resulting in drowning in pond in vehicle.

EE WAS UTILIZING WIRE ROPE GRABS TO TIGHTEN CABLES. WHEN HE REMOVED THE GRABS THE CABLE SLIPPED STRIKING HIM IN THE LEFT THIGH. BRUISED THIGH.

EE WAS LOADING SAMPLE BAGS OF COAL INTO COMPANY PICKUP WHEN HE FELL INTO STAIRS & TWISTED HIS BACK.

EE WAS USING A CUTTING TORCH AND MOLTEN SLAG DROPPED INTO BOOT. HE SUSTAINED SECOND DEGREE BURN ON HEEL.

EMPLOYEE WAS INSTALLING WEAR PLATES IN COAL CRUSHER. THE PLATE AND CRUSHER HAMMER. FINGER WAS AMPUTATED AT FIRST JOINT.

EMPLOYEE STEPPED FROM CONCRETE WALL TO DECK OF BARGE. HE TWISTED HIS KNEE WHILE DOING THIS.
