Employee was entering the oil room in the shop, as he entered the room he lost his footing as he stepped inside with his left foot, he then reached toward a storage bend to catch his balance. The plam of his left hand made contact with welding rods bored in a box on the shelf and his left hand was cut.

Employee was pushing material up on the ballast stockpile. The rear suspension support of the operator's seat broke. This caused employee's back to hurt. He reported the incident and was taken to the clinic for medical evaluation.

3 EE's were assigned the task of streching out 500' of #8 SO cord to be used to install an electrical pump. When the proper length was reached, the cord required cutting. One of the EE's went to get wire cutting shears. One of the other EE's had the injuried EE hold the cord and and the other EE cut through the wire with a box knife and cut the injuried EE.

EE WAS INSTALLING A WHEEL SEAL ON THE LT. REAR DRIVE AXLE OF A BELLY DUMP. AS HE WAS HAMMERING ON THE WHEEL SEAL DRIVER, THE HAMMER STRUCK HIS LT. INDEX FINGER. THIS RESULTED IN A LACERATION THAT REQUIRED STITCHES TO CLOSE. EE WAS USING TOO SMALL OF A HAMMER AND MISSED THE SEAL DRIVING TOOL AND STRUCK HIS LT. INDEX FINGER.

EE WAS REPLACING SCREEN CLOTH ON THE #1 WASH SCREEN. HE LIFTED A PIECE OF CLOTH WITH HIS RIGHT ARM EXTENDED FELT A TWINGE IN HIS LOWER BACK ON THE RIGHT SIDE. HE OPERATED A 769 CAT WAGON AFTER WARDS AND THE PAIN BECAME MORE SEVER AND HIS BACK TIGHTENED UP.
