Alleyton Resource Company LLC · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

EEs were performing a full log washer paddle change, all were properly LOTO in the MCC. Logs were secured with a come along to prevent the weight of new paddles to spin the logs. The come along slipped, EE became pinned between paddles and the wall of the log washer, EE was freed quickly. The accident caused abdominal contusions, EE was prescribed pain medication and light duty.

Employee sustains a compression laceration to his right hand ring finger while setting 6" core barrel in rack. Employee was wearing hi impact work gloves at the time of the incident.

Employee was installing a sheave on C-2 conveyor head section. While holding the sheave the sheave slipped off the shaft and the momentum carried his hand down where it impacted the keystock cutting the second digit of his right hand, resulting in five stitches.

An outside hauler, EE, was brushing off his truck after receiving his ticket, tripped on the gravel road and fell. He impacted his knee and face on the gravel road. His eye glasses cut his nose and he bruised his knee. He was taken to a clinic where he received stitches for his nose.
