Employee was greasing an excavator, after finishing greasing employee started to retract the grease line. In the process of retracting the line employee lost control of the line causing the grease gun handle to whiplash striking the employee's left wrist area.

EE and two other employees were installing new chains on an Eagle Crusher. The bar the chains were on slipped out of the bracket they were being attached to and struck EE's left thigh causing pain. EE was examined by a physican and returned to restricted duty. He will follow up with physican.

THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN REMOVED THE FOREIGN BODY AND STITCHES THE OPENING. EE RETURNED TO WORK THE FOLLOWING DAY, 3/10/04 WITH NO WORK RESTRICTIONS.
