The scale operator had been sitting in the sun and EE's vehicle as EE issued weight tickets to truck drivers for approximately seven hours. The temperature was 82 degrees when EE began exhibiting signs of heat exhaustion. 911 was called at EE's request. The ambulance took EE to Medical Center for treatment. EE was given fluids and released after a few hours.
