Wilson Creek Energy LLC · Fall onto or against objects

Employee slipped on ice while exiting his pickup truck in parking area of Refuse Site. He caught himself on his running board with his elbows and injured his left shoulder. Employee continued to work until 6/10/14 when he received arthroscopy surgery on his shoulder.

Employee was tightening skirt rubber on tight side of the belt in the draw off tunnel. Employee was not aware of his surroundings and stepped off the edge of the draw off tunnel. He fell approximately 7 1/2 feet into the tripper pit, resulting in an avulsion to the right side of his head.
