Employee was standing on the third run of a ladder (3') trying to take off a nut with a ratchet style wrench. The wrench slipped out of the employee's hand causing him to lose his balance and fall on his right side. The employee tried to break his fall with his right hand causing a facture to the wrist.

After completing routine mantenance, employee was closing the hood when a stabilizing shock failed, causing the 250 lb. hood to close rapidly. He attempted to remove his hand from the area but was unsuccessful in doing so. He pinched his finger in safety latch of hood, fracturing the fingertip.

THE EE TRIED TO PLACE CURTAIN LINER IN THE IMPACTOR BY HIMSELF. HE WAS DOING IT WITH ANOTHER EE. AS HE PLACED THE BLOCK HE GOT HIS LEFT THUMB CAUGHT BETWEEN AND SMASHED IT, CAUSING A LACERATIO N AND CONTUSION.
