Attempt to remove stone from impeller vein. Applied more pressure to remove stone. Stone came loose and allowed hand to slip off screwdriver. Then small fifth finger struck impeller cover which was worn by sand and gravel to a razor sharp edge cutting employee's finger.

ATTEMPTING TO TAKE OUTER INSULATION OFF POWER SOURCE CABLE TO SPLICE WIRE TOGETHER FOR A LONGER CABLE TO REACH BATTERY, HE USED HIS PERSONAL POCKET KNIFE. HE CUT HIS RIGHT RING FINGER.
