Employee of Asheville Bit & Steel Co was walking down steps to vehicle to leave premises of Hinkle Contracting. It was raining hard. He pivoted on right leg. He heard a pop, was unable to bear weight and limped to vehicle. He was sent to urgent care center, then to ortho. Currently he is unable to return to work until MRI is performed and read.

Using skid steer to move a conveyor belt, the operator had the bucket over the belt moving it. The employee was trying to help move the belt. Operator raised the bucket and the belt started to roll. He sat the bucket back on the belt. Operator couldn't see the employee's hand on the belt trying to stop it from rolling.

Rock between tandem tires. EE loosened the lug nuts to let the rock fall out from between the tires. He tapped on the wheel wedges to loosen them then he proceeded to remove the nuts and wedges. He was removing the last nut and wedge with impact wrench.

EE WAS OPERATING A CLEAN UP TRACTOR IN THE SECONDARY PLANT. HE WAS CLEANING FROM UNDER THE CONVEYORS WHEN A 2" TO 2 1/2" ROCK FELL AND HIT HIM ON THE LEFT KNEE.

EE WAS STANDING ON THE BUMPER OF AN EUCLID REAR DUMP PREPARATORY TO ADDING ANTIFREEZE TO RADIATOR. RIGHT FOOT SLIPPED OFF BUMPER AND EE FELL BACKWARD FROM BUMPER ONTO GROUND STRIKING HIS LEFT SHOULDER, HIP AND SIDE.
