Injured employee was removing the lock ring on 4 1/4 crusher with a hydraulic ram another employee was cleaning off the dist. plate with a water hose. When the water splashed distracting the injured employee, The employee caught his left index finger between the wedge of the ram and tube of the ram.

7EE WAS ASSISTING IN THE REMOVAL OF JAWCRUSHER CHEEK PLAT BOLTS. BOLTS WOULD NOT COME OUT SO HE WAS HOLDING A BOLT WHILE ANOTHER EE HIT IT TO KNOCK OUT OLD BOLTS. EE SWUNG, HAMMER GLANCE OFF B OLT, BOLT CAUGH EE;S FINGER BETWEEN BOLT AND CHEEK PLATE.
