A truck driver was in the pit to get a load of gravel and passed out at the scale house. EMS was called and driver was transported to hospital in Pueblo. Pit supervisor checked on driver later in the day and was told the driver is fine but is being kept for observation. The ill individual is not an employee of the mine.

Employee was walking from control van to screen deck and stepped on a rock and fell down. Supervisor took employee to the hospital, had left leg x-ray found both bones above ankle were broken. Surgery is scheduled for 4.9.19
