Hanson Aggregates Arizona, Inc · Fall from ladders

The employee placed a ladder against a conveyor with the top into the framework. When he was climbing the ladder to tie it off it slipped out from underneath him. He was 3/4 of the way up the ladder when it slipped & he fell approx. 8' to the concrete pad suffering a compound fracture to his arm, contusions to his ribs & a fracture in his foot.

HE HAD DIFFICULTY, SO CLIMBED IN JAW AND SLID DOWN, CATCHING BOOT AND LODGING LEF IN JAW. TWISTED LEFT KNEE AND HEARD IT POP.
