Contractor (Hooper and Chandler) was removing old tin and installing new tin on top of shop, when employee fell through the roof and landed on the concrete floor causing fatal injuries. The employee fell approx. 28 feet.

We were notified by the local fire department of a fire on the idle property. After investigation it appears that trespassers started a fire and it spread into the nearby woods. The local fire department and the Forestry Commission extinguished the fire. No company structures were harmed. MSHA was notified and investigated the incident.
